On June 20, 2024, Guangzhou Water Planning, Survey and Design Institute and Guangzhou Municipal Engineering Design Institute were invited to participate in the Qicha Pumping Station Project Inspection and Technical Exchange Meeting hosted by the Guangzhou Branch of Liancheng Group.
Guangzhou Water Planning, Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1981. It is a national high-tech enterprise and an AAA-level credit enterprise of the Ministry of Water Resources. It has Class A credit for water conservancy and hydropower, Class A design for water conservancy industry (river regulation, water diversion, urban flood control, irrigation and drainage), and more than ten Class B qualifications such as municipal water supply and drainage and landscape design. Guangzhou Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Guangzhou Water Investment Group Co., Ltd. It was founded in 1949 and is engaged in the whole process of design, survey, planning, mapping, consulting, engineering general contracting and project management services. Under the guidance of Engineer Liu from Guangzhou Branch, the participants observed in detail the structure and operating parameters of the water pumps in operation on site. Engineers from the two design institutes conducted in-depth study and discussion on the technical highlights of the project, and showed great interest and asked questions enthusiastically. Engineer Liu answered questions on site with accurate explanations and perfect answers, ensuring the efficiency and practicality of technical exchanges.
